STUDENTS OF 2nd ESO SPEND A WEEK IN AN ENGLISH SCHOOL IN FAURA (SAGUNTO)

Thirty-nine students have spent five days in “Aula de Europa” (http://www.englishsummerschool.es/) , a residence for students to improve their English in a different way from common lessons.
This extra curriculum activity has been organized by the teachers of the English Department in order to give students the opportunity to practice English outside the classroom.

The students have used English in everyday situations, such as currency change, going shopping, sports or free time activities. They have been placed in groups of working taking into account their level of English and they have had the chance to meet students from other secondary schools.
According to most of the students who have enjoyed the staying, the experience has been amazing and unforgettable, because apart from practicing their English, they have met new friends.

The last day of their staying was the Graduation Day, when all of them received a certificate for their effort and participation, and most of them also received medals and trophies for being the winners of some competitions or the most outstanding students during the lessons.

Friday 13th , after lunch, was the moment of the farewell, a mix of sadness and happiness, sadness because that special week had ended and happiness because they left with many more friends than before.
